ayrshiretaxidermy
Hi, First year at pigeon shooting so not very experienced. I have the pigeon shooting on a sporting estate nearby and had been watching a field for a week or two. Last week there were a few feeding on clover but yesterday i sat and watched a couple of hundred on it thru the binos. Set off this morning and got set up for 10.30am. I set the hide against a hedgeline and under some high bushes which gave me some cover overhead and put me in the shadows. Set out my decoys, which were some i got off a guy on ebay last week. Half a dozen home made ones and another half dozen very thin plastic shells that moved well in the wind. A cpl of Chris Green traitors and a cpl of foam pigeon floaters and that was me set. They came steady for most of the day and i finished with 53 picked for 110 shots, with 2 unaccounted for. I packed up just after 4pm and they were still dropping in. Will have a look next week and if they are still there will have another go at weekend.

Stokoe
Brilliant Bag mate... I'm jealous! I can't get any pigeon shooting up here at all!! No permissions available anywhere. Looks like you've shot enough for the 2 of us there anyway
