got a pair of blackbirds nesting in my hedge , the local magpie clan this morning decided to front them so i gave the blackies a little help with my AA s410 :lol:

 

 

good shooting- looks like this years young youve nailed judging by the size and plumage colour

Beautiful creatures aren't they? Shame they are too intelligent for their own good. Saw a female blackbird being followed by one last week. The BB had worms in it's mouth so the maggie knew where it was going. Shame I didn't have a gun to hand.

I have to say it "Because of their thieving, killing ways with songbirds the only good magpie is a dead one".

Please note that this is just my own opinion which we are all entitled to so don't hyjack the thread to tear me apart please.
