beretta 685 Essential help please

hello all

I'm looking for a little advice i have seen a beretta 685 Essential, im told its about 12 years old? (is that true) its multi choked and comes in matt black .

any body tell me what they are like and how about parts

As HDAV says .. give us the 2 letter date code by the proof marks ...

I also remember it as an 80s gun ...

no frills or stripes 68 series action.

Aren't all 68 spares interchangeable?

So could be a sound 'buy on condition' gun.

hello this is the gun the shop wants seven hunderd and fifty ( for it (does that sound a lot) i like it being black and the way the barrels are not joined in the middle. are there any other guns that are not joined in the middle of the barrels?

Price seems about right check Guntrader, if you like it and it fits then no reason not to buy it if you want 28" M/C O/U worth looking at the Browning (325, 425, 525) and Miroku equivalents
