Nice looking fox in the first pic Wasn't meant to be big and clever, apologies if it came over that way. Just wanted to show to people who may mot have seen before the damage that can be done by larger calibre rifles. Hence I have removed other pic Edited July 12, 2010 by SimonT

Hence I have removed other pic no probs, its just graphic pics really don't do shootings image much good, its nice to get hold of them at the moment, I've not had one in a few weeks simply because we have too much cover down this way but hey harvest starts in a week or so and rape within 10 days so should be plenty coming up
docholiday
Its always a problem on an open forum, what we find interesting and what may be percieved as a little sick by the public is a difficult one, well done and think the edit was a good call doc Edited July 12, 2010 by docholiday
SimonT
Nice looking rifle, what is it please? It certainly looks like it does a good job! Its a swiss arms shr 970 in .308. Its probably a bit much for fox, but I do prefer it to my hmr.
Frenchieboy
Very nice but a little large (Overkill) for my liking, I prefer my .222 - not to worry though, everyone to their own. I doubt if that fox is going to start shouting the odds anyway!

So it will have to wait If you've a 308 on there, might be worth looking at something like a .17 rem or .204, flat and fast varmint gun as you've got something for all species of deer, that said dead is dead, no such thing as overkill on vermin just depends on your ground as to whether it restricts where you are happy to use it
