Cosd
Anyone used this paint "Army Painter Colour Primer - Army Green" its on that auction site so I can't post a link. It cost £9.59 for a 400ml spray can and I want to use it for a lightweight pigeon magnet I am finishing. Any reviews or comments? Any other suggestions for a matt green and brown spray paint? HooB
Hi, I can highly recommend Krylon paint, it is "ultra flat", which I think is a marketing way of saying extremely matt...used the olive and brown on my whirly and a couple of bits of kit, its designed for this purpose. Tried to put the link here Simon

Put on what colour you want, i used some humbrol paint i had left over and mixed up the shades i wanted, paint it on and after it has gone off, take a scotch pad from the kitchen and take off the shine with it, when i was painting cars for a living the scotch pad was used all the time to key up paint which knocks of the shine!! you will pay through the nose for the camo paints so use what you have to hand............. Cosd
I cheated, I had some cloth camo tape and covered the main shaft with that, the rest is sprayed in matt black.
