danccooke Posted August 1, 2010 Report Share Posted August 1, 2010 (edited) My Old Man and I had a go with the Bath Muzzle Loaders and I took a few snaps. I was quite happy with this picture. The guys on the stand were fantastic and the demonstration in the main shooting arena was really good too. Looking forward to seeing them next year. See if i can actually hit anything other than air with a flint lock. danccooke Posted August 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 1, 2010 The hardest bit is allowing for the delay between trigger pull, pan flash, ignition and shoot. maybe only a few miliseconds but so so strange. CZ550Kevlar Posted August 1, 2010 Report Share Posted August 1, 2010 I own 2 flintlock muzzle loading .55 smoothbores and a .45 cal percussion black powder rifle, i have to admit they give me more joy and interest to shoot than my other rifles, it is a completely different experience and it`s one of those things that i swore to myself when i was a young lad i have to have these types of rifles when i`m older.
