proTOM1
Was due to have another member of this down to cover another field of stubble but due to the rain in the morning i said not to bother as it looked like staying which it did not ,so at 12.15pm i set up in the middle on some landing lights and had a go after 30mins barney came and joined me and we shared the shooting we had a nice few hours but alot of the birds were going to the other field behind us . In the end we packed up and picked 42 lost a few

kyska
Excellent shooting, quick question, is your hide not backed up against a hedge or similar? I ask as I've got big feeding patches in the middle of a barley field, far to far away to shoot from the hedge lines.

If the birds are feeding in the middle set up there ,if i do this i will set the the hide up the day before so they get to see it for a day

UKPoacher
The only thing to be concerned about is that some hide materials are see-through if you don't have a solid background. Light coloured things like alloy chair legs or white spaniels show through more than dark coloured items. Set the hide up then step back to the decoys distance and look at it from all angles.
