Bloke
I was messing around with my new compact camera and discovered something called 'burst mode' - it apparently takes about 3 pics per second, but I am sure you camera buffs will know more about it than me. I got this lucky shot over my mate's shoulder, with the shot visible, just leaving the plaswad, and the clay in the background. I know the picture quality could be better, but i was pleased to have 'caught the moment'. Maybe it could go for 'Spot the break point' competition , but - Did he hit it? guest1957
If the clay is the black dot I think it is, I'd say he ended up behind assuming the clay was crossing, not going away...

Absolutely right sir - you win the best guess of the moment award - no cash or prizes, sorry I don't think it helped his aim, with a fat bloke with a camera breathing into his right ear Edited August 10, 2010 by Bloke

MC
Well done, Someone has finally caught the shot string on camera, unlike the last fake we saw on here.

If you are saying I faked it - you are welcome to the original, or tell you what, would you like the card straight from the camera. Glad to see the level of cynicism is not diminished here.

Ferret Master
I think MC was implying it was a good photo. Unlike a previous photo months ago by another poster which triggered much debate about whether the black blob visible was the shot string or an ejected cartridge from a semi auto. Bloke
Thanks for being understanding guys - it has been a **** day and it's getting worse, but no excuse for being an **** - sorry! I wish I could say I meant to take that (Ok, I hoped!), It's just my mate Shortstock wanted a couple of photo's for his lad, and I found this new setting I had never used, called 'shoot & select', or 'burst', where the camera (Olympus Stylus pocket digital) takes between 2 and 3 frames per second until the button is released - then you select the image you want when you review them. When I found this image, I had to check the next two, in case I had some **** on the lens, but it was ok. Just one of those flukes, I am certainly no David Bailey. Cheers again, IanG. FM Ian, This is exactly what I meant, Sorry if I caused you any offence I certainly never meant to. You can clearly see in your photo the wad and the shot in front of it. I reckon the clay was missed though unless it is incoming and dropping to the right.
