i find the smell of intestines attracks the fox very quickly, lamp a few rabits and when u find one you dont want to eat, slash open the belly so u spill the intestines, it smells awful but the smell attracks a scavenger in no time, any1 use this method?

Tried something similar over the christmass with the end results being 5 dead foxes. We were at a piggery that we shoot and there was two dead sows thrown out at the back of one of the sheds. We checked the piggery several times over two nights and the sows carcasses were untouched and not a sign of a fox around so on the third night i opened up the sows bellies with a knife and waited. The smell from the sows bellies was something cruel alltogether.

The wind was perfect for us on the same night and was blowing the scent of the rotting intestines towards a lot of forestry and massive breaks of furs bushes and had 1 fox shot within 20 mins and 3 1/2 hrs later we has five shot.

Best night shooting we had in ages

They do but the stench was unreal and when i opened them up i pierced the intestines as well and released the gas that was building up inside them and got sprayed with god only knows what.I can still smell it off myself but it was worth it :*)
