gixer1
You'll need to attack it with a Multi meter and see where it's drawing current from, i would think something with a fair juice usage if it's draining a new battery over night.... And if they're easy to get to, taking out one fuse at a time may speed things up and put you in the right area.

Paul223
If you can get your hands on a multimeter with a decent amp function (10amp or more) disconnect the battery, put the multimeter in line between batt and disconnected lead, switch on to the amp function DO NOT switch the ignition on, just look at the amount of current draw and remove and replace fuses one at a time checking the current draw as you do so
foxnet22
also noticed lights are very dim when engine running .havent a clue when it comes to auto electrics is this to do with battery being low it reads just under 12 on the cockpit voltmeter,or could it be alternator on its way out also can alternator drain a battery when engine switched off. Paul223
yes a faulty alternator can drain the battery, it should be charging at about 14.4 volts when running for a few mins
