ME Posted September 19, 2010 Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 I have got some dirty critter on the laptop that is stopping me from running Malware Bytes and from updating the Microsoft Security Essentials program. It is also redirecting certain google and yahoo searches. I have switched on and off like we all do. vole Posted September 19, 2010 Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 (edited) I had a bug that knocked out my anti spyware programs . Maybe doing a restart in Safe Mode and running Housecall or similar as Mark said would help. Worth checking in Control Panel then look at everything you have on your Programs list is legit and uninstall anything dodgy looking .
