TJ91
I was told a few years back that if you shoot on the foreshore in scotland you must use only a gun that is owned by yourself... I know that on the farmland, i can borrow a gun from someone for upto 72 hours and use it! But is it true that the gun has to be owned by the person shooting it when on crown foreshore in scotland!? Thanks

al4x
no as you wouldn't fit the landowner / occupier criteria AFAIK
David BASC
err hang on, As the Dad has a certificate then he can have in his posession a shotgun owned by his son for up to 72 hours without having to enter it onto his certificate., nothing to do twith the 'occupier' exemption, which only applies to NON certifcate holders. Elby
Just put one of your guns on his ticket as "lent" You can have a shared gun so it can go on more than one ticket without you losing ownership of it.

NO because i only ever use my own gun, have never borrowed a gun or lent 1 before, therefore i never needed to know Edited September 29, 2010 by TJ91
