oh dear ,they ripped into you there .

ok no need to run anything thru barrel as stated air rifles like a build up in them ,washing and lubing pellets when you open a new tin is a good thing to do ,if you have a removal bottle like the daystate and theobens then grease on the o'ring is advisable other than that as said above a good wipe down with a decent oily rag (abbey cloth) is enough ,never leave a wet/damp gun in a bag even for just a few hours nothing kills blueing quicker than water ,as soon as possible get it out of the slip and into the warm and let it dry off then give it a good wipe with the oily rag over every inch of it, Some ppl like to apply a very small ammount of grease onto external moving parts that are under friction ,but as long as you avoid the gun staying wet/damp for any long periods you will be fine

I use crown sever pullthrough with dry patch after every target 25 shots plus 5 sighters, Makes all the difference in good round and a bad one. When I'm hunting Only clean when change pellets, then put 10 through w/new pellets before resighting. Did You know You were funny.....Franky
