Dunkield
this company advertise a 'camouflage shrink wrap' for guns. Wrap it round and use the wifes (or your own ) hairdryer to shrink fit it. www.pigeon-decoys.co.uk I am sure I have read, on here probably, that this stuff isn't good for your gun, as it is realy hard to get off afterwards... Axe
Has anyone contacted Hydrographics to tell them of thier misfortune? Anyway, I would favour No-Mar Tape over shrink wrap I think.

Kikkan
i can not really see the problem here...I mean why is a shiny barell any problem when you are inside the hide anyway? And even if your not inside a hide, im sure the birds do not get scared by somthing that is shiny. Just think of a pigeon is flying over a field, and there is a rock shining on the field..There is food, and other birds there... do you think the bird cares if there is somthing shiny there? Dont think so... The last time i was out, there was lodes of smashed up glass and shiny plastic beside the field. the reason for all the glass plastic, was that a old greenhouse was smashed up, and the birds did not mind what so ever. so my opinion would be that the birds dont care as long as you SITT STILL Edited March 13, 2006 by Kikkan

wacker
Couldnt you use something like No-Mar tape. Just a guess but im sure it a available in plain as as well camo. The beuty of it, it comes off leaving get this, no marks. Maybe worth a go. Otherwise you could be a bit more extreme and spray the top of the barrels with a Matt finish laquer. I have used No Mar, and although it comes off ok, i was left with a sticky mess on my moderator which came off with white spirit-so, not exactly no mar.
