Dekers
Lint free soft cloth or brush ...as you would with photograpic/bino/etc lenses. Make sure no grit on lens. Personally I avoid liquids unless essential.

foxbuster
Go to a dedicated camera shop-they'll have proper lens cleaning kits for about a tenner. I've pinched the one my missus got with her nikon slr. faultless results!
bullet boy
I bought a Lens Cleaner spray from Superdrug for a quid-Brilliant item. This spray is suitable for all lens and glass.Highly recommended piece of kit that does the same job as the dearer kits available! Rem223
Alcohol and a soft cloth is ok but make sure you never use anything like window cleaner or glass cleaner. These can contain ammonia which will strip the fluoride coatings.
