firdom Posted November 6, 2010 Report Share Posted November 6, 2010 best thing is to buy one big enough to run heating and be able to boil kettle etc incase of power cuts 2200kw should do it thats what i use any way if it is just for compressor you need to know wattage and start load i think ? What the **** kind of compressor do you want to power? a 300 horse compressor of course, to be honest give yourself a little leeway, go for 2500kw with the 300 horse motor, they draw a fair bit when starting up or may be a 2.2kw genny and a 1.5 horse compressor, or the genny will stall out when the pump kicks in Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
