PhilR
I've p/ex'd a gun there and was very happy with the deal. The owner, Trevor Stanton, was the chap I dealt with.

Gully
+1 for Trevor. I've bought all my guns there. You can't ask Catamong, he's got their name on the back of his shooting vest
Catamong
+1 for Trevor. I've bought all my guns there. You can't ask Catamong, he's got their name on the back of his shooting vest They do say everything comes at a price, I only get 20,000 shells a year for it..!! I have to buy another 10,000. Trevor's a great guy and will always do a deal, so try and beat him down a bit. Cat.
Dekers
On the border of my range, been in there once or twice but not for a while, used to (still do for all I know) make their own moderator , seem to major on the shotguns from what I recall..... seen a lot worse! Gully
Trevors own mods are good I've got one on my 6.5x55. Works a lot better than others I've tried, is 2/3 the weight (425g) and cost about £130, half the price of comparable ones. I wouldn't believe they were any good either so he took me up to his range to try it. I had a PES T12 on order and promptly cancelled it. I used it at Bisley recently and people commented on how quiet it was.

These things happen!
Gully
Each to their own - just out of interest (and dragging more off topic) was it a .22 CF mod or a larger one? As I said, not had problems with mine, probably put 200 rounds through it now with no signs of gas cutting or anything.

Hell, it was a couple of years and a couple of mods ago, not sure if it was the .243 or .308, but not a .22cf!
Gully
i know he does two types, one for a .22 CF and another for .30 cals. Mine's been good, strippable and quiet. Its on a Sako 85 in 6.5x55 and is very quiet, quieter than an unmoderated .410 shotgun. What was wrong with yours
Beardo
I have his rimfire one and think it's great

I was at Bisley when I first saw/heard one of these, I seem to remember it was on a Met Police FEO tool, shooting on a lane nearby. At the time I was impressed by size and noise reduction, even more so when he told me the price.....hence...... There are good and bad in most things, this was a Friday job!
