RossM
three of us went roost shooting this afternoon but there wasnt much action. Hardly any birds about at all. Total of 8 birds altogether but none of those shot by me as none came into my bit of the wood! Anyone else had much luck today.
mel b3
i took a guy out from another forum today and he shot 5 , it was his first time roost shooting so he went home with a smile on his face. edited to add , i can normally bank on 15/25 pigeons from this wood but only a few birds came in today , i could hear other guys roost shooting only a mile or so away and they seemed to be doing a bit better. RossM
there were a few shots from the surrounding woods but not alot and those shots must have been on target as they didnt fly on to us!!!
dunganick
had quite a good few days in demeber roost shooting, had an evening on my permission with LB, think we got 7, missed alot more than we hit. have had 17 off this wood before, but that was when the wind was right and they wernt going like a bat out of hell
Whitebridges
Reckon we saw 600 plus today. None came in the usual woods. No wind, it's too mild and the only reason we can think of is they are ******** in the sitty trees - good luck to 'em. :< :<

plexer
Went roost shooting with father-in-law this afternoon I got 1 for 2 shots and he had 4 for I don't know how many shots but a higher ratio than mine They were the only birds that came into my side of the wood that were shootable. No wind at all which didn't help. Nevermind hare shoot next saturday then roost shooting afterwards. Ben
