Shropshire_Lad
Poor ****** - pulls at the heart strings to see animals in that state. Well done on putting it out of its misery. It sure does, Ive tought my two daughters how to deal with these situations. My youngest had to despatch a wounded Rabbit a while back she came across knocked on the road. She was glad she had been shown what to do to put the animal out of its missery. Well done you for taking the time to care, many just ride by! atvb Paul. jamie g
good on you mate. i went out for a pub meal around a year back pulled into the carpark which is out in the sticks. as i got out the car i noticed a rabbit on the bank by a bush sat there with mixy. he looked so close to death. got couple of dirty looks off other people. but i went over to him and dispatched him then lay him in the bush. didnt want to see the poor thing suffering like that. a horrid way to die for the rabbit Edited November 16, 2010 by jamie g

al4x
yep i'd guess it was a car accident as well, I had a strange one on sunday, walking past the river near me there was a pigeon sitting in the water, floating fine but looked really ill. Sent the dog in and she picked it looked emaciated so I did the right thing and I guess it must have just fallen in

Fisherman Mike
Good on ya.... Not nice to see any wild animal suffering as such. Those definately look like friction wounds, probably dragged under the car for a distance. Tough ******* them hares one wrote off the first car I ever had..... I didnt hit it it ran out of a gateway, I swerved to miss it and demolished the cemetary wall and two dozen grave stones in the village where I lived ! apache
good on you mate. i went out for a pub meal around a year back pulled into the carpark which is out in the sticks. as i got out the car i noticed a rabbit on the bank by a bush sat there with mixy. he looked so close to death. got couple of dirty looks off other people. I was once in a similar situation - got the 'you're a vet do something look'. Spent 5 minutes chasing the little ****** around the carpark and gave up. Could get within about 5 meters!
