majordisorder
Just about to buy a semi auto and was wondering which carts people recommend in 2.75" / 12g / 32gr / #6. All the game / pigeon carts I've seen are 2.5" which apparently won't work in a Maxus (and other semis I guess).
HDAV
Hull special pigeon 32g are 2.75" as are Lyevale special game 32g No.6 you find which the gun prefers so see what other owners use.

chezza1986
My Urika 2 seems to cycle 2.5 inch shells fine and I have tried quite a few different different brands and weights of shot. The only cartridge it has difficulty with is Hull comp x 28 gram sporting shell that's 2.75 I think but it only doesn't cycle with the fiber wad version but will work fine on the plastic wad. Anyways I thought it was more down to shot weight than cart size that determined if the gun would cycle as mine will do 24 grams to 57 grams. Yours like the new Beretta say they can handle 24 gram to a huge 64 gram 3.5 inch magnum!!

It will cycle 21g carts only if they are longer than 67mm, She wont cycle any thing shorter. they jam in the magazine when coming out. COACH
It`s a fact that Semi auto`s definitely work better with 70mm cartridges but a Semi auto that won`t work with a 32g 65mm/67mm cartridge is not right and needs taking back to the shop because quite frankly in this day and age it`s completely useless. Every semi out there should have no problem what so ever with 32g cartridges.
Daveo26
Iv got an A400 and my mate shoots a winny sexy3 I understand they are similar to the maxus inside? Both shoot anything above 24grams (21 grams for the A400 ) regardless of cartridge lentgh. At the minute im using Lyalvale Express special game 32g no. 6 and they are fine
COACH
Dave, is that the green transparent ones ? I get an awful lot of un-burnt powder going back into the action of my Auto`s when using them. It`s a nightmare to clean out so I`v stopped using them.
