rugar 1022 semiauto not ejecting properly

got a proplem with my 1022 its not ejecting the spent cartridge very well sometimes it dosnt come out at all or it gets stuck in the breech. any ideas? is it possible to get a more aggresive extractor and how do I remove the the action to clean it all? cheers john

No surprise there then...

clean the action thouroughly aswell as the breech, they gum up very quickly. also check your ammo, as silpig said winnie subs tend to have a lot of wax on the heads, this stops corrosion, so if you are using winnie subs, either clean them or change ammo, HV rounds work best in rugers. :good:
