yickdaz
had a phone call the other day from a guy who runs a 700 acre shoot;we have shot a few fields and a wood on the land for 10 years now and its a fantastic pigeon area;anyway he rang to tell me that the syndicate have now taken over all of the land now so i thought brilliant more shooting lost.not the case in fact i and me old fella were offered a place in the syndicate and its a great offer;the shooting is an informal walk and stand for pheasant;duck and goose flighting on the marsh; pigeon shooting when you like.and all that for £2000 a year rent of the land shared between 10 guns.but not all 10 will be shooting at same time maybe 3 to 4 guns shoot at any one time.so its not over crowded. after an initial one off joining fee of £250 its £200 a year per gun.and i can say its worth the money for the pigeon shooting alone so going to snatch his hand off on this offer. also don;t mind mucking in on a bit of work that needs doing on the shoot filling hoppers feeding the duck ponds and flashes etc etc..just put the the post on to get some feedback on what you guys think.
