ollie
Got a few bunnies this weekend and Glensman has recently aquired a new mincer so thinking of doing some burgers & sausages. I would really appreciate any tips on your bunny burgers and what parts of the rabbit do you mince? Cheers

Fantastic! Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed them (I certainly did, I had 4 today ). I used this recipe http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2007/oct/20/recipes.foodanddrink but I added porridge oats (helps to bind the meat) and parsley. I was going to make a batch with Chilli but I didn't have any chilli in the house.

davie mac
Haven't tryed it myself but have a look here http://www.kwacs.org.uk/Countrysiderecipes.html Pigeon Burgers This recipe is dead easy. All you need is some minced pigeon, minced beef and chopped onions. Mix the ingredients together and then weigh out about a quarter as much of some stale, brown bread and soak it in cold water. When it is thoroughly soaked, wring it out, and mix it in with the meat. If it is not tacky enough, add a spoonful of lard. Shape the mixture into burgers. Cook them in an iron frying pan or on a barbecue grill Edited December 1, 2010 by davie mac
