Range Rover Sport

Anyone else noticed that Range Rover Sport drivers seem to think thier vehicle is fitted with a snow/ice proof braking system? I have been quietly getting from one place of work to another down the snow filled lanes. Taking it steadily in the Hilux. Not a problem until the nouvaux riche RRsport driver comes the other way at "defcon 4" believing his all singing/dancing is immune to the conditions. :o :o :o

Send them all back to london :yes:

I am originally from London, where we use the kerbs to keep us on the road. Ditchs are no help to us townies as they only damage cars, embankments are useful providing they are not too high and turn us over.

Whats more we have found that when we do not have exhaust entering our air in take systems our cars seem to go faster and what with local straw chewing villagers used only to the speed of tractors, even a push bike would look fast.

On a side note, I saw an absolute lad of a bloke in a BMW 7 series full on sideways in his office carpark loving it today. The snow really does bring out the 17 year old in some people. Obviously its good fun and there is a time and place (after hours in a carpark) to enjoy the snow with a car. Sadly some people don't realise it can take up to 10 times as long to stop in these conditions and giving it full beans will just result in a skid as will stomping the breaks. I really think adverse conditions should be covered in the test, skin pan training or theory at least.

Totally agree as do other European countries regarding the driving test additions . As for the snow bringing out the 17 year old in us I have to admit I like to have a play in an empty carpark
