Sprags
I had a trip up to the Highlands to visit my old mum and on the way up I stopped off at a mates place for a morning stalk with him. It was touch and go whether we would get out because the traffic was terrible due to the weather. Anyway, my mate changed his plan as we couldn't get onto his 'good' patch. We went to stalk three deciduous woods on a small estate. We saw evidence of the Roe being around but I hadn't spotted any until we entered the last wood and a Roe doe showed herself, I didn't need a second chance as I dropped her on the spot at approx 200yds. Me on the sticks Checking the doe was in good nick I stopped for a breather on the way back and hung the doe by a gate. Loaded up again, heading for home A cracking morning out, one I hope to repeat in the not too distant furture! Regards,Sprags

Sprags
Thanks Paul, it was a cold day but with the excitement of the stalk I didn't feel it to be honest. Cracking day though, I absolutely loved it! Regards,Sprags
