stupidsalmon
Decided to take my little polecat jill out for her first time ferreting this afternoon. Here are the results: Part of first set of burrows: Her first ever rabbit: 2nd burrow set: In she goes: 2nd rabbit: The first rabbit that bolted from the second set managed to wriggle out of the net before i could reach it and ended up getting away!! Anyway ended with 4 rabbits (two of which i shot after the ferreting.) I'll take her out again next weekend and post another report. Cheers SS

rushy lad
I used to like going out for an hour or two locally when the rabbit population around here was good, Now I am out for the full day for maybe 15 rabbits or less. Well done , Looks like your polecat will do well for you, Rushy.
