bakerboy
Is there a new pigeon shooter out there that would like to spend a few hours on the pigeons with me tomorrow? I shoot near Hitchin,9/10am start, if you are interested drop me a line, I will get back to you this afternoon/early evening as I am just off out to see whats around. You must use fibre wads,I can supply if required, at the extortionate rate of £5.00 per carton of 25, and I can also loan you a 12g O/U if required, must have insurance and SGC. bakerboy Edited January 3, 2011 by bakerboy

al4x
they are in big flocks on the rape at the moment, have been moving a few on for my mate with the .223 as we haven't finished game shooting yet but fingers crossed they are still at it afterwards as there are a few more about round us than usual
bakerboy
I will be on another field of rape tomorrow. The rape is not doing particularly well at present on this site but should still give up some good shooting. Yesterday was a bit disapointing despite seeing a large flock early in the day and a couple of smaller flocks circling at the field perimeters. al4x if you have some spare time tomorrow, you are welcome to come along

huffhuff
Just wanted to say I had an enjoyable day on Saturday with Bakerboy and RMC. Again, not many birds but some good banter and friends made. Terry (bakerboy) really does have a passion for spreading the knowledge and trying to get as many people involved in our sport as possible. A genuine guy with only the best intentions I'll try and get down this weekend too
bakerboy
Hi Ben Thanks for the kind words. We had a Crow and a Pigeon , a good chat, we made new friends and the weather was great, what more can you ask for on a Saturday morning. You also discovered the Kevlar coated species of Crow and Pigeon, and heard the Parakeets that have now moved up to the Hitchin area, I think the flock was about 10/15 strong. Cheers Terry

A genuine guy with only the best intentions I'll try and get down this weekend too Terry has offered me his expertise and knowledge in getting going in the sport. Looks like it may take some time as the knowledge is vast Once the SGC (fingers crossed) arrives maybe you could look after the novice (not in age!)
