I managed to get my photos up here.... http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=15276

The first pic is Steilstrecke going up towards the Karussell and the second is comming out of Adenauer Forst. This was on a course last year.

A couple of the guys in my group were getting their knees down in the Karussell

I was surprised at the crash at Flugplatz. Thats one of my favourite bits. Bike going light out of Quiddelbacher Hohe, **** out of the seat and crank it over for a double apex righthander at Flugplatz. Where your mate crashed is one of the safer bits. Carry on to the next left hander and they have loads of cars crash there.

Was he OK?

I got it new. It's on a 53 plate. Honda had a few crated up ones and my dealer got 2 of them. I got it for less than a new CBR600RR and it's a lot more bike for the money.

I prefer the paint on the SP1 to the SP2 but I do like the Castrol colours.

I would like the swingarm from a 2 on my bike but I understand thats a lot of hard work.

I know where there is a new and unused Castrol SP.........

Forgot the camera!!! Doh!!

Great day out though and an awesome track!! It had just been built and was one of the best i've raced on. So...... The results I hear you ask!!!

Race 1 --- DNF, The chain broke on the gate!!!

Race 2 --- DNF, 3 corners into the race and a guy desides to dismount infront of me! I couldn't miss him, front tyre into his gut and that sent me cartwheeling off into the distance. The damage, 1 front bent wheel and the throtle cable jamed leaving the bike wound wide open, still I managed to loosen the yokes and twist the wheel straight and 5 mins with the cable and it was bodged! Ah well there's always the next race I thought.

Race 3 --- DNF, Got an OK start running in about 10th 4 laps in and on a fast 4th gear left hander the front wheel washed out, I put my hand out due to instinct. It hit the ground first and managed to wrench my thumb back over. I think it may have popped out of joint and slipped back in? Anyway I couldn't hold on to the bars so had to retire!!

So all in all it cost me £70 in fuel,to race, join the club etc etc and I only managed 5 laps and 2 of those were for practise!!!

Gutted but still had a great day out on two wheels!!!

Sweet bikes mate!

I was behind a guy on an F4 at croft and anyone would have thought it was a Foggy patronas bike with the flames coming out of the back! I had to stay behind him for a lap in amazement!

Excellet looking bikes!

Are you not going to get the 1000?? It would be nice to see what they go like!

Got enough to be going on with, nowt wrong with the 750 to be honest. All this boll*x about what different bikes can and can't do makes little difference when it comes down to getting it on. First rideout on the new ST3 last year with 'erself up behind and the panniers on (going to Cornwall for a couple of days) joined up with a group of local guys on a rideout going our way. Couple of young lads with rings through the nose and eyebrows on new Gixer thous obviously going to sort the old fat *** out. They went howling off down the straight road, ironically just where two guys got put in prison for speediong not so long back. Got onto the nice B road section and sized them up for a while then rode round the outside of them on a nice left hand sweeper and dissapeared into the distance. They eventually caught up at the mandatory pub stop but they weren't laughing quite so much, lot of foot shuffling and talk of the weather. Ain't what you got its how you use it. I'se a particularly sensible rider having raced F2 sidecars for some time in the 90's :):):)

Top man, the MVF4 is the only bike I've ever actually lusted after.

You're spot on about the way you ride. I was in Scotland a few years ago thinking I was doing brilliantly when I was blown away by a bloke on an old Honda 400 four :) (In my defence, he was a nutter though).
