If you are looking for a bomb proof side by side try an AYA.. Have had them for years from basic number 3 box lock none ejector 410, 28, 12 ejector, and now have side lock number 1 which is a stunning gun. The number 3 is a work horse, used to use the 12 for shooting geese off the Norfolk sand dunes. Quite happily took heavy loads and BBs, but equally is a presentable gun for smartest of crusty pheasant shoots.

Your best bet is a gun that fits you, I bought a Browning 12g medalist o/u s/h it had only a couple of hundred cartridges through it ,almost brand new ,never use it ,got a s/h Franchi 712 semi auto, absolutely fantastic can't put it down cycles everything I put though it,moral of the story is getting a gun that fits you & the style of shooting you do,everyone has there favourite gun types but only you no what fits,my advice is go to your local gunshop see what fits your requirements & maybe do a search on guntrader!
