hi,

i just recently bought a new primos power call. it worked fine when straight out the box but now will barely make a noise except when you blow reallly hard giving out a high pitch noise. i think the problem is the "thingy" in the middle of the blower - if you know what i mean. so any ideas how to fix this?

cheers paul

can you actually make it sound like a crow steve?????

Yes, I can make many sounds with the Primos. Crow is the obvious one. I can also make sounds like a Rook and Jackdaw. It's all down to practice. If you make a 'grrrr' sound when blowing the caller, it makes the sound more 'raspy'

Just try it out and you should soon get the required sounds you want.

Steve.

PS. Take the rubber sleeve off it before shaking it! ( )

thanks guys. i find it quite hard to use

I have witnessed friends trying to use the caller, and it sounds like a ruptured duck with a bad dose of dysentry!

Don't give up on this caller, it really is a brilliant one. Practice as much as possible, and you should be able to master it eventually.

I find that giving It a good sharp blast through the opposite end every now and then keeps It clear of spittle :good:

When I`m calling crows I blow three times  two quick ones followed by a third more drawn out one.

I`m sure this Is the noise they make when they have found food ;)
