kyska
Are you using a 20b? I do, and strangely I#ve gone from 28 6's to 30g 5's as the birds won't commit to my decoys, so having to hit them a little higher, I seem to be doing better for the change too though....

hutchie the white hunter
personaly i dont think that using anything under 28grams for pigeon is being sensible, due too the fact that you are more likely too wound more birds than anything else

kyska
im useing a 12 gauge I don't shoot 12g, but 21's seem a bit lacking mate, good luck if you're taking birds down though. Maybe you have a recoil, shooting issue you need to get sorted, I've never shot anything less than 24 in my 20. proTOM1
I use a 20g and wont go below 28g mainly due to the fact i like taking on longish birds and the fact any lighter and you get more runners and pricked birds If it works for you in 12b then carry on

topguns
You could always put more choke in if you want to use 24s, 24 6`s or better still 5`s in a 20 bore should be ok> I hade a 20 auto beretta & a eell under & over some years ago half & three quater would floor them at 45 yards. Try it. Sir Jo nickerson @ Rothwell used a 28 bore, never mist.
