Stock re-finishing

Hi all

Can anybody recommend a good gunsmith \ gun shop (in East Midlands) to remove the varnish finish from a shotgun and re-oil it instead.

Stock has a couple of small dings that need steaming out also

I would do it myself but dont have time with work at the minute, any free time is taken up with shooting !

Thanks

Looking very nice (what scope is it?)

It's one of these,

.....and if you can, snap one up, I seem to remember it cost me about £65 around a year or so back, I thought that was good, it's only £45 now.

Honest report, build quality is far from the best and the Allen key turrets do my head, but the glass punches WELL ABOVE it's weight. It would be excellent for any rimfire, and is good day and night, Mil Dot reticle. Excellent value for money! :good: I also happen to have one on my .223!:good: Edit.. got mixed up, I actually have the 6-24 version on my .223, the 4-16 is Better!
