HEAD SHOT NO1
You get what you pay for just keep on looking for a second hand Harris . I strongly Disagree. I use to Trade chinese copies and you could hardly notice the difference.Only hard core shooters could.check ebay out and go for the tilt type as the fixed ones are no good for when you want to move. Last I seen you coud get Harris copies for £20-25 delivered from china.

I wouldnt bother with that.Youl get a exact replica of the harris for that sort of money or a little more.Your snuffed if you dont have paypal though.I coud easily arrange a bulk buy of these but im not sure if the forum allows it. Dekers
You have to be realistic, I have found nothing to be better than the Harris, but mine are tools of my trade and I use them a good bit, and swap them around from gun to gun all the time. Many "may" have one rifle which gets used a few times in the summer and after a year or two they tire of the whole malarkey..... plenty of bipods out there worth a look, and they are pretty much all cheaper than the Harris! But Harris for me! Whatever you get, make sure it is a swivel version!

These are the same as the Harris and excellent quallity right? Unless they have changed VERY recently they are NOT the same as the Harris and they are definately not the same quality! Perfectly satisfactory for many people and many uses just the same! Edited January 24, 2011 by Dekers

Agreed, there is nothing wrong really with the cheaper copies, but depending on how much you use it, and the fact that you are shooting a non recoiling gun may sway you towards a copy.....but...the quality is in the buying, depends on your wallet size mate. I'd say, if you can afford it, buy a harris, if not...as Dekers has said...make sure its swivel as you'll lose the pins from the clamp before you can say bang. adymorris
I have a Shooters Ridge Rockmount jobbie - (out of stock of Harris in the shop at the time otherwise I'd have got a Harris) they were a few quid cheaper - quality seems fine - I also have a chinese copy called Rambo 5 or something like that I got for about £15 of egay and the quality is nowhere as good as the Rockmount - some copies may be OK but beware they may well not be plus my one was supposed to be a swivel but it's not Edited January 27, 2011 by adymorris
