markbivvy
hi catamomg get em there in a four track,i can drive to most of my fields. but have you ever tried more than two, has it been done before, some of the farms i shoot birds are weary of 1 rotor, but do come in better with 2 . if animals learn by repartition, then we are training birds to be on the lookout if they see a 2 bird rotor, how many pigeons have ever seen 8 or more in a pattern. might be worth a go mate. Catamong
Mark, No never tried more than two - that worked OK for me, definitely better than a single rotary, but how far do you go with this one, 6, 7 , 8..?? Cat.

Cat. i dont know mate, just kicking the idea about. in the first ever days of the rotor , it was devastating, possibly like the hair rig was to carp fishing. i just wonder if there is anything out there that will make the machine old hat. Country Boy
Oh god my secrets out!!!! 4 wyrleys - yep it's the way to go :- With your back to any wind, place one way out in front (45metres) one each side (10metres at ten and two o'clock from hide) and one in the field behind (close as poss. I have had this one modified and it is 3metres higher than standard) make sure the ones to each side rotate in different directions - as you look out from the hide the left one must run clockwise and the right anti-clock! No static deeks required with this set up, and the latest 'Pinewood Advantage' types are best they run at a faster speed than any others are capable of. Don't bother picking shot birds until lunch time - leave them where they fall, just send fido for any runners. Cheers, CB :}
Highlander
Well I know two can work well, actually never thought of three or four but gotta be worth a try if woodys involved. Crafty little boogers get the better of me enough times.
