Axe
LB arrives late to miss buying a round. SL's brother can shoot traps on his own next time, hes just too good. And i've learnt to actually hit a clay.
Nildes
It was good, a bit damp outside and crowded in the tents. The chap with the Owls and Harris hawks did a good demo. The Ferrets were amazing. Dogs were good too.
Nildes
I should add that I wish some of the Labour Party Antis could've been there. They would have seen ordinary working people and working dogs in almost equal numbers. Didn't hear the accents of Chelsea anywhere. Didn't hear any haw-haws boasting about bag sizes on their shoots. Just country people proud of their skills and good at what they do. So there aint no class war to fight, at least not on Detling Hill. Axe
Cheers for the vote of confidence BT. Actually, I found it very useful. Went to the BASC tent and signed up for a spot of tutoring. Turns out I have centred eye dominance and need to either close the left eye or use a pair of glasses with a spot over the left lense. Also had the gun checked out for me and it turns out I need to raise the comb by half inch. The rest of it is well fitted and I managed to blast a few clays. Best money I ever spent, i'm well chuffed.
