Roosting Crows

Had an invite to go roost shooting some Crows with a good friend of mine. I had forgotten how good the rapid air rifles are. Mine had not been shot for quite some time just recharged the bottle and away she went.

I think the crows came under rapid fire for about an hour :) (bliss).

Nice bag...

But.. Doh.. dont want to be a boring sod, im not too keen on shooting birds while they are half asleep, getting ready for the night..

Still I geuss its very effective.. its just I try to make it a bit more fair, and do it it in the day, which means very slowly creeping accros mud and ditches on all 4's to get into range.. :P

Nice guns too!

Yeh.. No FAC means no long range shots.. means stuck with airguns which dont shoot straight in the wind, and you have to get to within 30m for a clean kill ;) I cant help going out hunting every time I have the time.. wonder what will happen when I have a rimfire :yp:
