The Duncan
Hi folks, on this wet sunday afternoon, I've been sorting through some shooting kit and decided to clear out my 'spare pellet' collection. I'm not going to change my HW100S and have already found the perfect pellet for the beast, so simply won't be using the other pellets I tried. Likewise, my Ratcatchers fave poison is FT Trophy's in .22, of which I have 1500 rounds, so the rest can go. The list below will show what there is and approximate number - so if there's a newby starting out, or someone with a new gun looking to try pellets, or one on the list is your rifle's favourite flavour let me know! .22 BSA Storm 1/3 tin Napier Power Hunter (domed) over 3/4 tin Air Arms Field 5.52 1/2ish tin .177 BSA Interceptor (high impact) v nearly full tin RWS Hobby 1/4+ tin RWS Superdome 3/4+ tin Bisley Long Range Gold 1 and 1/4 tins. Eley Wasp (red top tin) about 1/4 tin H&N Barracuda Match extra heavy about 1/2 tin Crosman Accupel 3/4+ tin These are FOC to the collector(s), if anyone wanted to donate .410 or 12b carts or AA field pellets 4.52 that they aren't going to use, all's to the good, but really not necessary! All the best folks, hopefully someone can benefit Cheers Duncan Edited February 27, 2011 by The Duncan
FalconFN
Very kind offer! I would like the Bisley Long Range gold but couldn't collect unfortunately. Would a small donation to you persuade you to post? If not no prob. All the best. Edit: Or not so small. HW682
I might as well join in Similar to above, just got a new S410. Would like to try the RWS Superdome to compare to AA Field if you would post. (Also Accupel if they aren't taken by by previous poster.) If you want to hold out for collection only - no problem, fully understand. Cheers. HW682 Edit: will obviously pay postage and a reasonable amount for the pellets. bruno22rf
If you could pop them in a box and drop them off at dive central or donaldsons next time your in the area then i can certainly find a use for them-my lad would have hours of pleasure making me look stupid as he outshoots me with his ancient Diana against my logun-any others not suitable i would pass on to MKAR.-regards-bruno. The Duncan
Hi guys, I'll get to the Post Office tomorrow and see how much the cost is going to be and get back to all posters (?!). Hi Bruno, I could drop the 'tale-enders' in at Donaldsons soonish as I'm going to be gun-shopping fairly soon. Cheers, Duncan
The Duncan
A quick update: found an additional half tin of .22 accupel, .22 RWS Hobby 11.9grain, a full tin of .177 FT Trophy's, washed sorted and lubed (too much - I let the kids lube them!) and about another half tin of Accupell in .177. HW682
Thanks for the info. If you can weigh them at home, you can get all postage pricing from Royal mail website to save you a special trip out
The Duncan
Cheers HW682; it looks pretty reasonable on postage cost - a tin would be treated like a large letter - less than 750g and also less than 2.5cm thick. Just need to get some Jiffy bags and then it's the task of fair distribution! My only concern is people getting tins that have been dropped - bent pellets are neither use nor ornament. I'll pad the pellets inside the tin (where the tin has a bit of room) and then put in padded envelope and keep fingers crossed . I'll be on the case tomorrow and getting a small number of padded envelopes. Likely P&P costs looks like about a pound. The Duncan
I've had a couple of requests for trial pack type batches which seems an equitable way of getting the most out of the spares. Looks like i'll be a busy chap lol Any more trial pack requests? FalconFN gets himself a tin of Bisley LRG as he was the only requester for that flavour. Will finalise P&P cost tomorrow (when I've bought the padded envs) and pm folk for necessary details. ATB Duncan
