adam f Posted March 5, 2011 Report Share Posted March 5, 2011 Ive already had about half a dozen rabbits in young this year - the first one was was early as the 3rd week in Feb! The rabbits my way seem abundant already - I must have counted over 50 in one field when out last night... Then today I had a mixy bunny in the garden from the farm next door - the first Ive ever seen here in 4 years - a result of a early mild(ish) spring and too many rabbits? Dekers Posted March 5, 2011 Report Share Posted March 5, 2011 I've seen/shot plenty that were expecting already but not seen any young yet. I usually see the first born of the year in March, so shortly I suspect, but I have historically seen them in the first week of February. These things happen, weather, food, harborage, etc! libs Posted March 5, 2011 Report Share Posted March 5, 2011 Went out last night a shot, nothing. Saw one set of eyes which were most likey a cat, didn't stop to let me know.
