ste
The ejector in my Winchester Ranger 140 semi auto (basically the same as the 1400) has sadly broken :-( I've found one option with a retailer called Numrich: http://gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Detail.aspx?pid=236300A Sad news is it's $30 plus shipping, plus a $25 export handling fee for the trouble of living in the UK. Alternatively, I've found one on what looks like a auction site: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=218878596 Unfortunately the seller doesn't ship internationally. If anyone has any advice/experience in buying spares from our cousins across the pond (or knows somewhere in the UK I should try), I'd be very, very appreciative. Cheers all, Ste
DSPUK
Do you know anyone in the US - if so get them to buy it and send it over - Machine part ratchet pawl. - They have funny laws now about sending gun part abroad. - Bit paranoid. dave
Vince Green
Numrich are good, we used to buy a lot of bits from them years ago but, as has been said, the American laws on exporting firearms parts are now very restrictive. You may find that even if you place an order it gets refused. Its very complex now. Edited March 7, 2011 by Vince Green
casts_by_fly
it is not complex. For incidental pieces (not barrels, actions, etc) there is a $100 limit. if you are under that limit there is no export permit required. Do a search for my posts as I explained it all about a month or two ago. The difficulty is fining a seller that is willing to ship internationally and knows the laws in question. A private person would be able to do it also. Some businesses just don't want to take any risk. Thanks Rick
