KDR
I would really be grateful if those of you who shoot this gun or have shot it would give me your evaluation of it... Thanks in advance.

rusty50
Hi I have a 30" XS it was a upgrade from a betty after 3 months into clay shooting. told by others to get a good second hand browning insted. Well i find it just great and like the plainer styling too very very pleased with it cost £1600 and they appear to hold there money too. Have a maxus standard wood 30" but very pleased i didnt trade my xs in for it.But Ear bashing from wife was worth it all the same. Buy it I say. rusty50
Adjustable stock is fine and once you set it for your own set up it stays like it and you forget its spaced up i have a foam strip in between as not to pinch cheek, but that said more than happy with it. shaun4860
I bought mine when they first came out.....i paid around £1150 for it and its probably still worth close to that. i used to tinker with the comb and change it for trap/sporting......daft idea its now set for sporting and never fiddled with anymore. The reason i went for the adjustable stock was i always wanted a browning but always found the comb to low.... its not raised much...about 1/8 of an inch but its enough it now has a kickeeze pad on the end as well great guns...... shaun
timps
I had a 30” Browning Ultra XS adjustable for a few years before I bought my Berettas. Good points....well made & totally reliable. The ejectors on the Browning are far superior to the ones on the Berettas, never had a cart fail to eject properly, the Berettas seem weak in comparison. The extended Midas chokes weigh a bit and made the gun nose heavy compared to my Berettas, I went for some Briley ported chokes and this helped the balance as they were a lot lighter. The adjustable comb is very clever with just one screw to adjust everything but this can work loose so just check it’s tight every now and then. The butt plate is solid plastic and not to everyone’s taste, a bad mount on a driven bird and the corner of this can leave a bruise and it does seem to kick little more than my DT10 and 682 gold e. The Berettas also seem to shoot a little flatter. Having said that it was a fantastic gun that did me well, you will prefer the feel of one make over the other, as to which is best is purely subjective to the shooter.
