proTOM1 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Share Posted April 3, 2011 Had a call from a mate yesterday saying he had been watching a field of peas and it was blue with birds ,so met up at 10am and headed to the field only to find 2 others already shooting it . Had a chat with 1 of them and he had 30 birds down in the first hour ,we were gutted so we went home . This afternoon thought i would have a few hours on some turned over maize ,after some searching i found around 80 birds on a strip with a few coming and going so got setup . I had a steady few hours with a few lulls when it ****** it down and packed in at 4 pm .
