Axel
Hi Gang! Some of you contributed to the debate on 4-Track V Landy some weeks ago when I was trying to decide which one to go for. It was split about 50/50 I think but in the end I went for the 4-Track as it had to be an occasional family taxi as well. I got myself an N-Reg Forester 2.8 TDX with 7 seats and its a fine vehicle, lots of torque and good mpg etc. However, its not a Landy and I miss my Series 3 more than I thought I would. So, is there anyone out there, with a Landy, Series or 90, who fancies a swop for a clean 4-Track? Im looking for one with a newish chassis, good bulkhead, bucket and doors and with a good engine and gear-box. I dont want a project or a hammered farm/off-road vehicle but something that has been looked after. Any takers, please send me an e-mail. PS the 4-Track has an MOT, road tax and has done about 95k. Cheers, Axel. PPS Please dont say I told you so, oh allright, just the once then. 4/4/06; Update; No takers, so does anyone know of a good LR series dealer in a 40 mile radius of Cambridge, apart from RJ Landrovers (off A1) & visiting soon and Landys of Bury St Edmonds (already looked at and will pass). Cheers, Axel. Edited April 4, 2006 by Axel
Sergeant
I am in exactly the same position as you, fourtrak or landy. I have seen both, but im gonna go with the landy having heard a few things about the fourtrak.

ROB REYNOLDS UK
i now have a lwb trooper but iv had landys for over 6 yrs before the trooper, the landy beats any other 4x4 off road .i had a DISCO thats a sound motor if your a big guy like my self, i had to get rid of the defender 90 as it was too small ,i had to drive with one arm out the drivers side window i do miss the disco as you can do 50miles an hour across field no problem ,the trooper is a tarmac car really i do about 10 miles an hour in that ,just to bumpy :< disco is my next motor again i think ..
