Dekers
Both are excellent fox rounds but only you can tell which is most appropriate for your land. 200 yards foxes should not be an issue for either, and to be honest if you are expecting much more then a .243 may be the tool! Like for like 22-250 is faster than the .223, but don't buy a calibre just because of that, it is also ******* noisy! casts_by_fly
For 200 yard fox, I'd just keep an eye out for the rifle you like best in 222, 223, or 22-250. Find a good deal rather than a specific cartridge. They will all do the same job. Thanks Rick
Billy.
Like for like 22-250 is faster than the .223, but don't buy a calibre just because of that, it is also ******* noisy! Mine is pretty quiet. I've fired much louder.
