20 vs 12 hushpower

It's not an answer to your question but I would buy the O/U 20g type every time, it's much closer to a normal gun size and balance and you can use it like one.

In many respects the Pedretti type single is even better due to its lack of bulk if you're walking far or are getting lots of snapshots, I've had about a dozen bunnies already this week lamping and kicking my way thru scrub and bramble with mine.

The only moderated pump I tried seemed very front heavy and soooo loooooong.

Interestingly the O/U seems to shoot pretty much to the point of aim, not many Hushers appear to do that.

I have the Pedretti 12G which fits my needs & reloading gear nicely but if starting from scratch would choose the 20g as the best option of noise/power.Tried a friend's 12g Mossberg Hushpower, found it pointed OK but very much overlong(musket like) & noisier than the Pedretti. If & when funds allow I would love an O/U.

i have a 20g O/U hushy, ran about 100 through it now and it is very quiet,i was at a clay shoot today trying to get used to it more and with ear plugs in it sounds like a CO2 air rifle, and with no recoil I wondered if it have actually fired.without plugs it sounds like a loud clap.pigeons don't seem affected by it's noise, don't know what a 12g is like.PO aim is pretty good with it too.
