Respect for the quarry is parramount.

foxbuster
It would be a good idea to get a mouse squeaker or similar, always handy when shotgunning foxes-if 'charlie's just out of range for the shottie you can generally squeak them in closer. This would work well in conjunction with being totally concealed.

foxbuster
You can get them from most gun shops-but seeing as its sunday dont think you'll be getting hold of them today! If you've got any polysterine about, you can rub this on a piece of glass (i pinch one of the mrs' small mirrors). Practice this in the house before you go out-try to get a high pitched 'squeal'. Oh yeah, works best if the glass surface is wet (just gob on it!)
poontang
ill be laid with camo net over me tomoz night 5.30 First thing I'd do is check with the landowner that he wants foxes shot. I know of one who's quite happy with them about as they keep the rabbit population down.
steve_b_wales
No one seems to have mentioned shot size. It's recommended that you use at least BB's or #4 shot size.

Or AAA, #1, #2, #3 , all of these including the ones listed above are great for foxes. :good: Or you could use some SG cart's but i wouldn't
SPEEDY
BB's or #2 shot for me, I have seen too many fours run after getting hit at range with #4 shot.
