Mungler
FAO just been round and all is well. Bad news is that the certificate is 4 to 6 weeks away, oh well.

No but apparently when I applied it was the G8 summit and all police licencing offices were disbanded for them to go and help with the security operation. il cacciatore
I figured that whales deserved to get nuked. They are evil I tells ye. They pretend to be nice with all that swimming and splashing but this is all a show to fool us into thinking that they are sweet and cuddly. They are upto something. Dont trust them! Mungler
Good news, my SGC has arrived today. Hooray. Watch out for a few airgun sales as I now get to "upgrade".... Andy
il cacciatore
Nooo, dont step into the trap. Keep the airgun!
Mungler
Will be keeping the S410, could never part with that. Besides, too many local squirrels, magpies and jays that still need my attentions. In fact the local magpie population appears to have gone through the roof for some unknown reason. Nasty b*******. However, they are extremely clever and skittish making them very difficult to shoot. Have tried decoys, bacon rind (tip from uncle) and carrian without much success. The best (and accidental) decoy I used was a Jay I shot - clean shot off the top of the greenhouse and it fell (conveniently) into a wheelbarrow below in an upright position. 10 minutes later along come another 3 Jays to see what the one in the wheelbarrow was getting into.
