alison391
Have you tried Thimbleby shooting ground near northallerton we have shot it a few times its a excellent day out but not for the faint hearted as its not the easiest shoot we have been to we will be up there next bank holiday weekend if you fancy it alison391
Lord Geordie
What shooting it it? Simulated Game or just Trap shooting? I tend to stick to Steve Smiths as it's on my doorstep and being a single parent means i have to take my Son too. Northallerton from mine is only about 60 miles i would think i will have to look in to it i guess Is it a members only club or can anyone get in? Thanks LG

Its a sporting layout 70 bird on saturday 100 on sunday but you dont have to shoot that many if you dont want to.

Rob G
Not sure what time it starts they have got a website not sure what it is.If you are up there for a wednesday night it is well worth going to have a go at the floodlit skeet. While you are shooting fighter jets are taking off.It is right opposite the american airbase

paulos
LG, thimbleby is worth the trip down, the targets arent especially complex, theyre just at some quite silly ranges, and a lot of driven targets. ive shot there quite a few times and enjoy it a lot.
