Spoke to local tax man and he said £300 to stuff and £125 to get skull mounted... :blink: What do you think about just burying it for 6 months and digging up to bleach it? Or just boil it? same job but saves me £125. Off again saturday, will have to see what comes out... Dont do it for the trophies but they add something to it. To prep mine i just cut the skull as i want it to be mounted (Long/Short nose) Then remove as much flesh as possible including brain/eyes Then place in boiling water and boil till all the remaining meat comes off.Dont let the pan boil dry. Then just bleach when its clean and dry. I use an urn to boil most heads but a pan on the cooker can be used if you dont mind the smell. I've done a couple in the garden on a gas bbq and that worked just fine, I think Kenzie still has one that we did that day (one was a red and other was a roe) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
