M.I.A
Hello, i have my interview with my FEO next week but ive just learnt that my Countersigner is going away for 2 weeks on sat. Will this be a problem, should i ring my FEO and let them know so they can contact him before he goes away? Thanks Edited July 21, 2011 by M.I.A
silpig5
i doubt they will contact him unless there is a problem with your application , then yr feo will bring it up at interveiw . never know a signatary on a sgc to be contacted to be honest . just relax , be yourself and have tea and choccy biscuits ready adi
artschool
not sure about sgc but my signatories for FAC were called. i would just leave it, as they will go at their own pace anyhow.
wymberley
I would have said, "yes" then you could have relaxed in the sure and certain knowledge that you'd done everything possible to ensure it went smoothly. When Murphy and Sod team up anything can happen and will at the worst possible time. However, in view of the timescale, it's probably too late and unless there's something really horrendous keeping the skeleton company in the cupboard, you'll be fine. Gnome of the Woods
My mate is putting in for his SGC and he asked the FLO who could and couldn't and they said basically anybody who has known you over 2 years! So I am doing it.
BerettaSV10
DR is your doctor, by the time you get to the interview stage you are really close to getting your SGC. The interview is to see what you are like in person, what your house and cabinet security is like if not already seen. Some may offer advice on if they feel you need to beef up any thing. The interview is a relaxed interview and the could well ask why you want a sgc, what experiencece, training you have had and where you are going to shoot. Its also opportunityty for you to ask questions as well. My FEO said after the interview wouldud have the SGC through in about a week and they were just waiting for the checks to bcompleteded. If you have declared anything on the form like medical conditions this could well crop up as no doubt they would of contacted your doctor for reports and to see if they are happy for you to have a sgc.
