Cranfield
34gms No5's is a bit heavy for rabbits, especially if you want to eat them. I rarely use anything greater than 28gms of No6. Have a goo9d day and let us know how you get on.

ollie
I have never shot along side a combine as the crop is being cut, so approx what distance will the shots be taken at? I always shoot rabbits in the winter bolting from ferrets with 32g 7's; however, the rabbits are very rarely outside 35 yards. I would say 5's are a bit strong but it depends what range you are shooting at. I would say it is probably better getting the choking right on your gun; I never shoot bolting rabbits with anything less than half choke through my semi-auto. Good luck anyway and report back with your bag

fenman99
Spent Thursday pm walking with the combine on rape, must have walked 20 laps of the field only to see 1 rabbit hop out of the last row at the other end of the field. Still pay back last night, spanking a few with the 17. fenman99
